🛣️ Daily joke

The fleet manager was worried about the robotaxi's lack of personality. It just didn't have much character arc.

📜 Daily poem

Sensor Flutter

A sudden shadow, swift and low, Lidar tracks the feathered flow. A flicker caught in infrared, An organic arc, a silken thread. The algorithm pauses, then resumes, Navigating through summer blooms.

🔭 Scientist spotlight

Kurt Gödel 1906–1978 · Mathematical Logic

Kurt Gödel was an Austrian-American logician whose work fundamentally altered our understanding of mathematics. He is best known for his Incompleteness Theorems, which proved that in any sufficiently powerful logical system, there are true statements that cannot be proven within the system itself. This profound discovery set permanent boundaries on what can be formally computed or proven.

🔢 Number theory fact

The Prime Number Theorem

While prime numbers appear to pop up randomly along the number line, they actually follow a very smooth global pattern. The Prime Number Theorem describes how the density of these numbers decreases predictably as you head toward infinity. It tells us that the number of primes less than a given value is approximately equal to that value divided by its natural logarithm.
